Always on the lookout for networks whose aims suggests interest in down to earth approaches to spirituality and transformation of the outer world.
Inner self development, I believe, proceeds with the help of the outer world serving as a mirror and source of feed back.
Since reality is not divided into inner and outer worlds, working exclusively on subjective, inner or on the objective outer world will be self-limiting.
Making a difference in the other world requires a degree of competence in managing the self; conversely meaningful self development will be indicated by the kind of impact we make or fail to make in the outer world.
These thoughts are being triggered by recalling a recent conversation with a friend. He maintains that seeing anything negative in the world is a mistake that has to be corrected by learning not to see such things as starvation, genocide,abject poverty, state terrorism.

Welcome back, janos:

When I read Since reality is not divided into inner and outer worlds, working exclusively on subjective, inner or on the objective outer world will be self-limiting.”

I thought: even if we think thatSince reality is not divided into inner and outer worlds”;

working exclusively on subjective, inner or on the objective outer world” is not possible.

When we observe another, we may think they are working exclusively on one or the other, but it is our own awareness that needs to deepen here.
