Being more blunt

I posted a message on a certain topic in zLounge hinting at a deficiency in awareness in the "New Consciousness" movement. There seems to be a belief that needed/desired changes come about as a result of thinking beautiful thoughts and speaking beautiful words.
A day and three new posts later it seems that no one has read the message or understood the hint. Maybe it is not surprising because it challenges the culture of addiction to the "feel good" factor (complacency, to use a slightly stronger term).
Following my usual habit, I will wait another day or so before posting again to spell out what I was trying to say.

Help

Hmm I will check this one out!
This community continues to amaze me! Its capacity to link interesting people together is really inspiring.
What a treasure an enlightened thinker is–a breed of human that is in process of developing the superiour organ of heart/brain.
Not satisfied with mindless feelings or brittle and cold intellect, sh/e seeks the warm and wise fusion of heart and mind; hereby passing gently from mere knowledge towards wisdom.
ps. Thank you for reminding me that “…another day or so” is beginning to turn into a week.
I ADORED that comic! Hilarious! Thanks for the morning laugh! :)))))
Hello Janos,
I don't know where your hint is at in the zLounge, it has too many pods for my time. However, you may wish to enlighten me here a bit?!
If I'm reading your posts correctly, you are getting disappointed by what seems to be a Pollyanna type of attitude about change on the grander scale of actualizing an outcome that goes beyond words and lofty ideas to some practical “let's plug in” a project and get some real social action occurring. Is this correct? Please let me know what your heart is concerned about in a pragmatic way, okay?
I see change occurring on 2 levels simultaneously. One is personal, person by person. The other is in collective actions that “slug-out” in the trenches where so much stuff needs a different orientation than the one that is happening.
I work on both levels. I 'm completing my CASA training (GO to my blog, I'm tired of the tedium of all the steps to put in “nice links”, I' ll get over it. Just tonite, I'm not driven to follow thru thusly.). This will make me a volunteer guardian ad litem on behalf of an abused child who I'll be court assigned to give proper Voice to in the System and courts. I hope I serve well in that capacity. We will see.
I volunteer on task forces at the legislative level in an attempt to input some “sanity” (if I have any left :) :) :) (are those computer Ha ha's ?) into law re-writes, new legislation, and BLOCK legislation that is harmful to our freedoms of medical choice (alternatives are treated as hostile), freedoms of natural herbs, ad naseaum - whatever the current assault is.
I guess, I also move on a third level. I'm attempting to gather people into co-creating educational reforms with schools, parenting education, etc. In this area I'm focused not by getting into the current frey, rather, on establishing what works by 'going parallel', because this way you're freerer to create and less tangled in all the resistance to change.
I'll look forward to hearing from you.
All to Love, Sharon
